Spa & Wellness in Baden-Baden
Hot thermal springs have bubbled up beneath the Florentinerberg since Roman times. Two baths make them tangible: the modern Caracalla Spa and the historic Friedrichsbad.
Caracalla Spa
A modern thermal complex with indoor and outdoor pools, grottoes and saunas, fed by the hot springs beneath the Florentinerberg.
Friedrichsbad
The Roman-Irish bath of 1877: a 17-station circuit of heat, water and steam beneath a magnificent dome.
Before your spa visit
The Caracalla Spa is a modern thermal bath with indoor and outdoor pools, bubbling loungers and a sauna world - you bathe in swimwear, and the sauna area is nude. The Friedrichsbad is a Roman-Irish bath from 1877: a calm, nude circuit through heat, water and steam, roughly three hours, for ages 14 and up.
